Issue One

Welcome to the first installment of Comic Rants from Tegan Pants.
I am your humble narrator, Tegan Pants.

On the maiden voyage of CRfTP, I will be reviewing "My First Wonder Woman Book."
As soon as Daddy found out I was a girl, he bought me this book. He wanted to make sure that my first book was also my first comic book.
Mommy won't stop yacking about this Amazonian broad, so I was interested to see what all the fuss was about.

First impression, this book tastes horrible. I don't have much experience with reading, but I hope taste isn't an intregal part of it. And when Mommy saw me gumming the front page, she started yelping about "mint condition" and took it out of my mouth. I had no idea what she was babbling about, but my gums were getting sore so I didn't fight it.
Second impression, Wonder Woman is worth every bit of the hype! She's got a magic lasso and bullet proof bracelets and an invisible jet! She runs around making people tell the truth and takes down bad guys and stands up for what's right! All this while wearing some very high heels. I will start taking my fashion tips from Wonder Woman, since Mommy can barely walk around in flats.

The cover proclaims you can "Touch and Feel" and after a thorough hand washing from Mommy, I was allowed to do so. Her cape was covered with sparkles and I got to feel Wonder Woman's lasso.
The book ends with a nice group shot of various superheros I will no doubt learn about soon and a view of the newest superhero on the block.

All in all, this was awesome! If you are looking for a way to introduce your child to a fun, positive, female role model, this book is for you.

Catch you next week, loyal reader. T Pants, signing off!
