Success!

I finally have something edible from my garden! The jalapenos and peppers got massacred by the grasshoppers, but the tomatoes held out. Uncle Bob and Curtis' dad came over last night and we sliced them up for hamburgers. And they were effin' delicious!

Fake Farm Life

Everything is still alive! BUWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Our little zombie bait chicks have grown into little zombie fighters. It is essential that every member of our family be well prepared for the zombie apocalypse, so Curtis and I run drills with the chickens every weekend. They are excellent at running away, but when it comes to arms training, their aim is sorely lacking.

Curtis is nearly finished with chicken run. Only a small part of the roof needs to be finished. Thanks to my mom and dad for the awesome decoration.

Our garden is still holding strong. There's a lot of growth, but we still can't eat anything. It seems like our tomatoes have been green forever. On the plus side, our chickens seem completely uninterested in digging up any plants.

My summer has been consumed with beer and domestic duties and I love every minute of it!
