Brrr...

Skull Lady

Snowed in at home, so I finally got around to messing with the inking pens Curtis got me for Christmas. This little lady's been a work in progress for awhile now.

I gotta remember this.

Via.

It's winter again...

It's so damn cold. Time to get back to painting people with abnormally large eyes.

Florence and the Machine

I am recently in looove with Florence and the Machine. Her voice is beautiful and I want her hair. The way Florence and her little ballerinas dance reminds me of Beyonce, only volumes cooler.
PS. Sorry the video quality is crappy. Here's the official video which I couldn't embed for some reason.

Listen to "The Bird Song" too. It will make you a better person.

Watercolor Pencils

Curtis' mom got me some watercolor pencils for Christmas and now I am messing around with them. Nothing earth shattering, but it's fun to play around with something new. Curtis will always be my favorite subject.

Curtis made this baby for the back of our wedding invites. Caped crusader meets mohawked cyclist. Watch out!

Ouch.

Crazy Ghana Film Posters

Check out these film posters from Ghana painted on flour sacks. Most of the time artists hadn't even seen the movie and just painted whatever the hell they wanted.  Thus explaining Cujo's fierceness and why Evil Dead 2 now stars Sylvester Stallone.
