Florence and the Machine

I am recently in looove with Florence and the Machine. Her voice is beautiful and I want her hair. The way Florence and her little ballerinas dance reminds me of Beyonce, only volumes cooler.
PS. Sorry the video quality is crappy. Here's the official video which I couldn't embed for some reason.

Listen to "The Bird Song" too. It will make you a better person.

Monolith

The weekend of the 12th, me, David and Adam when to Red Rocks for the Monolith Music Festival. Weather was crappy and it rained all day. My cons were a bad choice of footwear and they now sit in my living room, all but disintegrated. Adam also pressured me into giving underage kids beer. I'll never forgive myself. There were some amazing performances though. We danced our asses off to Girl Talk and I fell in love with the dirty hippies of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Can't get this song out of my head. Alabama, Arkansas...

Good Golly Miss Molly

Fun fun fun times were had in California with my favorite Irish girl, Molly. Highlights of my trip include getting to touch her superhero bike, finally seeing the Avett Brothers with her, and drinking wine out of Garfield coffee cups. These are all pics from my cell phone so the quality isn't great.

As always, the Avett Brothers were amazing. We were so close I totally thought I could smell their b.o. Turns out it was the dancing hippies behind us.

I honestly could not tell you why I thought this was so funny...

Molly works for Bell helmets and in their conference room is all of Lance Armstrong's signed Tour de France jerseys.

The coolest cruiser ever. Until I get mine painted of course.

I mean really! I want this in my yard!!!

Kung-Fu Grip! Weeeeeew!

I can totally say I knew them when.

Kung-Fu Grip is a band out of Ft Collins, CO who just got together a few months ago. Russell on the drums, Jake on bass, Diesel on guitar, and Derek on lead guitar. Their music is awesome and they sound better everytime I hear them. They have their first live gig sometime in June. When I find out the exact date, I'll post it. Check out their Youtube channel here and give them some love on their myspace page here.

Here's another one of my favorites.

Song of the Day

The Booty Beats remix came on the radio before I got to work.
